Circadian Clock

Hello me loves!! Those who know me personally know how country I am and those who don’t, it’s true!!! So Heyyyyy my beautiful people! Today I want to touch back on the circadian clock, how it affects us and our hair. What is a circadian clock or rhythm? It’s a cycle or rhythm that is a natural internal process that regulates the sleep wake cycle and repeats roughly every 24 hours. Why is this important? It guides your body to let you know when to sleep and when to wake up. It’s crucial in helping us regain energy lost from being wake. What role does it play with hair growth and hair loss? So you know our hair goes through different hair cycles, Anagen-growth cycle, catagen-from growth to resting cycle, telogen-resting cycle, exogen-where resting hair shed. Let’s think of circadian cycle as the hair growth biological clock. For each hair growth cycle, hair follicles make new hair and to be able to regenerate hairs throughout life is from the hair stem cells in the hair follicle and the influence of the circadian rhythm. What happens when the hairs biological clock is disturbed? It can prolong the phase of active hair growth. BMAL1 and PER1 are core clock genes in the human hair cycle. It prolongs the anagen phase and also produces dht. Why sleep is important for hair growth? It prevents mutation in clock genes that leads to a irregular clock which affects hair growth, prevents the release of dht that leads to alopecia as well. Our bodies our affected by many things and not resting is a number one problem which messes up our biological clock, causes health problems, depression and hair loss!! And make sure to use your drops at night because of the circadian clock! Please research this on your own!! Our goal is to be healthy! Our health is our wealth! Continue to blessed u guys!!!
